Will Smith's "Hancock" Takes #1

This will mark Will Smith's 5th fourth of July weekend opening at number one:

After flirting with superhero flicks for years (Smith told MTV he'd briefly
considered starring in "Superman Returns"), it was the boozing misanthropic
character of John Hancock that wooed Smith into the genre that always seemed to
be a no-brainer for him. And in a summer that's already seen impressive grosses
by the likes of "The Incredible Hulk" and "Iron Man," is it really any wonder
that a superhero flick starring the world's biggest star would make for a big
success?

#2 "WALL-E ($33.4 million)
#3 "Wanted" ($20.6 million)
#4 "Get Smart ($11.1 million)
