Whatever Happend To B2K?

Ever wonder what happened to B2K? Well apparently everyone but Omarion chose to sign the TLC contract and ended up not making any money and locked into contracts until like yesterday. Long story short everyones coming out with solo projects now that they are out of their Sony contracts. Personally I think their solo projects should be enrolling in a good trade school. But hey, I'm not here to crush dreams.

Malaysia Says No Thank You To Gwen Stefani

Apparently older version of Fergie Gwen Stefani's "music" is a little too racy for Malaysian eyes:

Malaysia should pull the plug on the Kuala Lumpur leg of U.S. singer Gwen Stefani's upcoming Asian tour because of her indecent dressing and obscenity, a Muslim students' group said on Tuesday.

The 10,000-strong National Union of Malaysian Muslim Students said Stefani's August 21 concert, which is part of her 'Sweet Escape' tour, would clash with local Asian and Islamic values.

"Her video clips promoting the event are too obscene," Mohamad Hilmi Ramli, the group's president, told Reuters. "We want the organisers to cancel the concert, failing which we will ask the authorities to intervene."

While we're on the subject of Stefani I have to say that I don't really "get" her. Stefani's music is cool but what doe she really do? This 38 year old chick barely sings, prances around stage dressed like an Asian pirate and kinda dances. I mean I'm a No Doubt fan and all but aside from great production and a lot of flare she couldn't even win American Idol. That's my barometer for talent. If you can win American Idol. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

Rihanna can’t sell a record here in the states to save her life so maybe she can sell umbrellas.

She’s getting her own line of Totes umbrellas that will sell for $50.

Make a hit song you’re supposed to sell records, not umbrellas. Can’t knock the hustle I guess. I’m gonna come out with a song about cell phones. Hopefully, T-Mobile approaches me about a line of Hater brand sidekicks or something ‘cuz my cell phone bill is dumb high.

There were rumors that Young Buck was gonna possibly sign with Jimmy Henchmen’s management company Czar Management. As you know Jimmy manages 50’s adversary the Game. Hiphopdx.com reported that Buck’s current management Monet Management, owned by 50’s homie and former president of G-Unit Records Sha Money XL, reached out to squash all that noise. They said that the rumors were untrue and all that good stuff. The statement is below.

"The rumors regarding Young Buck's leaving G-Unit are not true. He is still signed to G-Unit Records and represented by Money Management Group. He is currently touring, working on G Unit LP, and his Cashville records compilation.

On related news, Game is rumored to be coming back to G-Unit and also recorded a song for 50’s new album. I don’t know about that one. It was something about them both being businessmen since Game sold more on his debut than all of the other G-Unit artists combined. Speaking of G-Unit and Jimmy Henchman. Tony Yayo rejected a plea deal that would’ve given him nine months in prison for slapping up Jimmy Henchmen’s 14 year-old boy. Yayo’s attorney Scott Leemon had this to say, “The prosecution’s nine-month offer is one Tony vehemently rejected,” said Leemon. “It’s not even a good offer for a guilty person, and Tony denies the allegations absolutely.”

50 Cent’s label, again, pushed back his album, "Curtis" a week to September 11th, the same day that Kanye West releases his Graduation album. Kon-yeezy is trying to spin the fact that he won’t be #1 into something positive. Nah bruh, you always talking about being the best and sh8t.
