This controversial video has been getting a lot of buzz lately both positive and negative. Bomani Armah, also known as D'mite, is a self-identified "poet with a hip-hop style, not a rapper," and achieved a lot of internet fame after releasing the single "Read A Book.
Personally I think this is one of the best videos shown on BET in years. It's funny as hell but he still gets his messages across like: read a book (not the sports page or a magazine) and little things like "raise yo kids" and drink water.
