I'm sad to report that it is official, Rosie O'Donnell will in fact be leaving the view in mid-June.

Working with Barbara, Joy and Elisabeth has been one of the highlights of my career, but my needs for the future just didn't dovetail with what ABC was able to offer me. Now I didn't watch The View, I just loved hearing about Rosie randomly take shots at anyone that upset her. But I don't think this will be the last we see her. I think this will all play out like it did for Star Jones when she left. Jones went back to her first profession as a lawyer and got herself a cushy gig on CourtTV. I wouldn't be surprised if I flipped on the TV in a couple of months and saw Rosie on Animal Planet.
